Fortinet Unveils its Security Fabric to Arm Global Enterprises with Pervasive, Adaptive Cybersecurity from IoT to Cloud Networks

Wazzup Pilipinas!

“Pervasive digitization continues to redefine business, while technology trends like IoT and cloud computing are blurring the edges of the network today. Unfortunately, many enterprises continue to rely on security strategies developed decades ago that can no longer support the ever-increasing speed of business. Unlike platforms loosely coupled at the management level, the security fabric weaves together highly sophisticated hardware and software, enabling direct communication between solutions for a unified and rapid response to threats. Fortinet is committed to delivering security without compromise. With its Security Fabric, Fortinet is the only vendor to be able to provide its customers with seamless protection across the expanding attack surface, and, the power to take on ever increasing performance requirements of the borderless network – today and into the future" - Ken Xie, founder, chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Fortinet

The evolving enterprise network and its transition to a digital business model is one of the most challenging aspects of network security today. As significant trends in computing and networking continue to drive changes across many critical business infrastructures, architectures, and practices, organizations are looking for innovative network security solutions to help them embrace those changes.

In view of this, we were invited to attend a small gathering to learn more about Fortinet Security Fabric and how it can provide optimum security to an organizations across their physical, virtual, and cloud environments, from end to end. The event was held at the Heat Restaurant of EDSA Shangri-La Hotel on June 23, 2016.

Present on the event is Mr. Jeff Castillo, Fortinet Philippines Country Manager and Nap Castillo, Fortinet Philippines Regional Pre-Sales Consultant, who were both there ready  to answer our questions.

I am really excited as this will be my 2nd time to attend another GOAB event. I was there last year when they held it in Boracay last August and I definitely learned a lot about startup initiatives and got inspired to be as motivated as the founders of the many apps and other innovations the attendees showed us during the many talks and sharing of insights and information.
