Banat By Tested Positive for Corona Virus, Netizens Rejoice

Wazzup Pilipinas!

“I am positive of COVID-19.” - Byron Cristobal aka BANAT BY.

DDS "influencer" Byron Cristobal, a.k.a. Banat By, and said to be a paid ghost writer for Mocha Uson, has tested positive for coronavirus.

In the same Facebook post announcing the test result, he peddled his vlog to his readers.

Banat By have negatively criticized frontliners before, and now talking about dedicating his youtube channel for them for helping him as a Covid-19 patient.

He didn't even apologize, & went straight for publicity? an example of 'balimbing' right there— an epitome of it, actually.

DDS wants people to advocate positivity amidst the doom and gloom of a badly managed pandemic. I heed their call.

To "Banat By", be positive! Stay positive always!

So who's gonna send Banat By a bunch of flowers?

Don't you just love how Karma and Hypocrisy hits fascist enablers, fake news peddlers, and overall assholes?

Banat By: fRont LinErs nAgPapAgAmiT sA kOmuniSta.

Banat By, now: SALAMAT FRONT LINERS!

Walang disiplina.

Banat By and his handling of Mocha Uson's page made some peopley parents believe in fake news. It caused many "away & sigawan" on  many households. I'll never wish him ill and I really hope for his fast recovery... but KARMA is real pala talaga noh?

Karma has no menu. You get served what you deserve as karma even has its own address book and calendar time table.. Banat By has always been negative towards anyone whose giving opinion to the government, so the Corona virus gave him some dose of positivity.

But why do I feel like this is just for clout. I do not trust a single thing this parasite Banat By says.

Using DDS logic: Pasaway kasi si Banat By. Kaya lumalala pandemic sa Pilipinas dahil sa mga taong katulad nya.

Meantime, Senator Bong Revilla, a COVID-19 patient in isolation, is rushed to the hospital due to pneumonia, his wife Bacoor Mayor Lani Mercado Revilla says.

Revilla confirmed last week that he has contracted the coronavirus disease.

Bong Revilla & Banat By getting COVID19 is the silver lining of this pandemic ATM.

Banat By and Bong Revilla are currently struggling with their health, let us never forget to be human even when we do not agree with their principle and ideology. To wish someone death is never a noble act of condemnation for their misdeeds.

We've become bad too...just as how we wanted Bong Revilla to remain Covid-19 positive.

Not that I blame the people, but I believe most of these DDS we're just paid or misinformed to support the government.

Once we start to be happy for their mishaps, we become the same people we hate so much.

Arjan Bhullar Focused on Brandon Vera Fight, All Other Heavyweights Line Up

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Indian freestyle wrestling superstar and mixed martial artist Arjan Bhullar has made it very clear, he’s fixated on upsetting Filipino-American heavyweight Brandon “The Truth” Vera and ending the 42-year-old veteran’s ONE Championship world title reign.

All other heavyweights can wait.

ONE recently bolstered its heavyweight division with a myriad of high-profile signings, including Iranian Greco-Roman wrestling world champion Amir Aliakbari, and grappling legends Tom DeBlass and Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida.

Though Bhullar is excited for a host of potential matchups inside the ONE Circle, the 34-year-old won’t take his eyes off the prize, and vows to defeat Vera to claim the ONE Heavyweight World Championship.

“The signings have been really exciting, big names and world-level talent. The heavyweight division has quickly become the toughest division on the roster. I can’t wait to get in the Circle with all of these guys,” said Bhullar.

“But no one else matters to me right now except for Brandon Vera. We have a contract in place. Once I get that belt, I’m looking forward to taking on all challengers.”

Besides Vera, however, Bhullar is particularly interested in potentially taking on BJJ World Champion Marcus Almeida in the ONE Championship Circle. It’s a compelling matchup between two grapplers with similar training methodologies, but vastly different competitive combat sports experience.

Bhullar made his name in the world of wrestling, having represented Canada at the 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011 World Championships, at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, at the 2007 Pan American Games and at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Almeida, on the other hand, is considered a legend in the submission grappling circles.

Bhullar, for one, believes he has the upperhand over Almeida, owing to his world-class wrestling ability.

“We both represent Checkmat Jiu-Jitsu, so we’ve been taught similar techniques. I will never be as good as he (Buchecha) is in pure Jiu-Jitsu, but MMA Jiu-Jitsu is a different animal. I will always be able to control where the fight takes place with superior wrestling,” said Bhullar.

“Buchecha is a big name in the BJJ world with lots of potential for MMA. Great to see him in ONE Championship, and good for him for getting an ambassador role as well. But the only challenge that matters right now is Brandon Vera. That’s the contract I’ve signed. Once that business is handled, then I look forward to others including Buchecha.”

Bhullar’s bout against Vera has yet to be finalized and officially announced, although the two heavyweights are expected to face each later this year or early 2021. Assuming Covid-19 restrictions begin to relax between national borders, the promotion can start developing concrete plans.

Despite the lengthy wait, however, Bhullar is keeping sharp and staying ready for the biggest fight of his career. If he can defeat Vera, and capture the ONE Heavyweight World Championship, he’ll get to realize his dream of leading India on the global stage of martial arts.

“The heavyweight division has never been more competitive and exciting. I would stack our division up against any other promotion in the world and I feel our guys match up well if there were any cross-promotion fights,” Bhullar concluded.

“I look forward to being the champion of the division and beating back every challenger.”

PRI Continues Training Online Amid COVID-19

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, the Philippine Railways Institute (PRI) continues with its training support to the country’s railway industry by offering its Refresher Training (RT) course in an online platform.

Since its launch in July 2020, the Web Refresher Training (WRT) Course has accommodated railway operators in lieu of the usual face-to-face RT Course.

The conduct of a face-to-face RT Course was restricted following the enforcement of the community quarantine in March 2020, coupled with strict physical distancing policies set by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases.

Although in an online environment, the PRI, using the same training design and materials, still aims to build the capacity of Philippine railway personnel, with further emphasis on railway safety and passenger satisfaction, especially with the present heightened rules forced by COVID-19 on the transportation sector.

Since its pilot run in October 2019, five (5) batches with 116 certified personnel have completed the scheduled RT Course.

The PRI is a research and training center for the railway sector under the Department of Transportation (DOTr).

It serves as the planning, implementing, regulating, and administrative entity for the development of human resources in the railway sector to ensure the delivery of efficient, reliable, and safe railway transportation services.

The PRI also ensures that personnel working in each railway line have the right knowledge, skills, and attitude for operations and maintenance through the issuance of certificates of competencies.

The establishment of the PRI is supported by a ¥670-million grant from the Government of Japan through the Japan International Cooperation Agency, in addition to a ¥1.2-billion grant for train simulators.

The PRI and its complete range of best-in-class training equipment will soon be housed in a seven (7)-hectare training center at the Valenzuela Depot of the Metro Manila Subway.

With the training center’s completion, the PRI shall offer Fundamental Training (FT) Courses to personnel of new and expanded railway lines to establish an industry-level understanding of railway operations and maintenance.
