Enchanted Kingdom pays homage to the unsung heroes in the time of pandemic

The spotlight will gleam on the tireless individuals who are working above and beyond the call of duty in these challenging times as Enchanted Kingdom officially announces the opening of nominations for the 6th Enchanting Heroes of Change: You’re my Hero.

This year, the premier and word-class theme park is paying tribute to these unsung heroes of today who are selflessly devoting efforts on the frontlines and continuously making positive impacts in many lives during the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

For kids ages 4-12 years old, this is your chance to show your support and give cheers to the real-life superheroes. If you know an individual, a friend or a family member that you consider a hero, nominate them by sharing a photo as well as their inspiring story. Enchanted Kingdom wants to hear about them.

Tag your hero on the post (if they have an FB account).
Use the hashtags: #EKHeroesOfChange2020, #iloveEK and #EKatHome.

Submission of entries is until August 28, 2020 and winners will be announced on August 31, 2020 (National Heroes Day). Five (5) chosen heroes will win three Regular Day Passes each, and the kids who submitted the winning entries will also receive two Regular Day Passes each plus a special Eldar Doll!

ABS-CBN News YouTube Channel Peaks at 10 Million Subscribers

ABS-CBN has proudly announced that their news channel has reached 10 million subscribers on YouTube.

We all know why.

The YouTube channel has the live stream of TV Patrol, The World Tonight, and other shows of ANC and TeleRadyo. It also contains video explainers and profiles by ABS-CBN News Digital's NXT.

Just as I predicted, it is not surprising that they got a lot of subscribers. With all their resources and how Pinoys eat up tabloid-style news reporting and entertainment chismis at the sides, I told you they will be very competitive as an online content creator.

Just like Rappler and other vloggers, they are now lined up as among the publishers of digital stories.

But there's this saying that goes like "Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer" so maybe their detractors are also subscribed so they could easily launch a campaign to counter-attack whatever controversies this alleged "Dilawan" formerly a television and now only just an online presence, with many of their employees laid-off due to its recent lost of franchise to operate. The mighty Kapamilya channel has been reduced into a digital.pubkisher and content creator with many of its potential source of earnings gone but now redirected towards their strengthening of their online presence.

With many of their top newsreaders and reporters still working for them, it is not surprising they are bouncing back stronger than ever.

Just look at how eager they were coming up with so many news directed towards the incompetence of the government. Citing every issue, again and again, whatever they could throw and even refurbishing old throwback news from Yesteryears to remind everyone how this administration has failed us.

Yes, they are on a mission....and people have tuned in knowing it will get dirty soon.

Kung bukal sa loob ang pagtulong, tutulong at wala ng maraming dahilan. Mga artista talaga, baka pakitang tao lang. Ipinaalam pa ang mali ng may sakit. Silent na lang sana. Let people read between the lines kaysa siraan ninyo pa yung taong tinutulungan ninyo. Ano na-accomplish ninyo? Na huwag na ring tumulong yung iba na nais tumulong?

Sa totoo lang nag-iiba ang ugali ng tao kapag may karamdaman. Sana unawain na lang. Normal sa tao mag-iiba ang ugali lalo na may sakit at tumatanda na.  Stress pa sa dami ng problema. Sana kung gusto ninyo tumulong dapat bukal sa loob. Unawain na stressed at may sakit ang tao. Iniwan pa ng pamilya.  Kaya siguro ganoon na lang siya.

Very vague at pinahaba pa kasi..Ayaw diretsuhin kung ano talaga dahilan at sabihing "Matigas ang ulo at ayaw sumunod sa advice namin si John Regala. Panay droga pa rin yata ang tinitira.... kaya tigil na tulong namin sa kanya. Kayo na bahala kung tutulong rin kayo o hindi. Ipapasa na lang namin sa iba yung donations sa crowdfunding "...tapos ang usapan.

Seriously, the more na dapat siyang tulungan because of that behaviour. Never give up on your fellow humans. A rebellious attitude is actually a call for help. John Regala is obviously emotionally unstable, and has a lot of mental problems.

I totally agree with the rest who’s heart is for John’s condition. We may not even know what other illnesses does he have that caused his stubborn attitude. Though at his age and being alone can develop into anxiety. Huwag ninyo naman iwanan. I believe if your group’s intention is to help your co-artists  who are unstable & very ill; your PATIENCE & COMPASSION should be longer to last a lifetime.

Normal at natural sa may sakit ang mood swings or madalas na iritable or galit dahil stressed at higit sa lahat iniwan pa siya ng kanyang pamilya. Ang tanging kailangan niya ngayon ay isang malawak at malalim na pag-unawa. Lalo pa’t kulang sa suporta ng pamilya. Napanghihinaan lang siya ng loob. Iba kasi talaga kapag pamilya ang mismong nakasuporta.

Unawain na lang sana nila. May sakit yung tao. Ganyan talaga ang feeling kapag depressed at nag-iisa. Bugnutin, mainipin at parang laging irita sa buhay. Bakit papatulan at kakainisan? Baka naman, kapag nawala na yung tao, puro sila papuri at sasabihing malaking kawalan sa industriya ang pagkawala niya. Pustahan!

The group is doing a good deed. We ourselves made so many repeated mistakes in life. Perhaps, it is not too much to add a little more consideration to pursue what you already started.

His uncooperative attitude could be the effect of all the medications he is getting or he simply accepts the fact that his time will end soon and he doesn't want anyone to be burdened anymore by giving more to help.

If you want to help, help without question. Listen to the true intentions of your heart. Let us continue never losing hope for one another.
