We are witnessing an era where the environmental footprint of digital intelligence—the massive water consumption of cooling systems and the insatiable electricity demands of data centers—threatens to counteract the very sustainability goals the technology is meant to serve.

1. Safety: The Bedrock of Trust

Safety is not a feature; it is the foundation. An AI system that is not robust is a liability.

The impact of AI transcends borders, which is why governance must be collaborative and inclusive.

Policymakers must create global standards that provide the certainty needed for responsible innovation without stifling progress.
