We often heard this line in the famous movie saga of all time which is Star Wars. The characters like Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Yoda, and Princess Leia are very popular especially to those fanatics of this epic movie. Well how about to celebrate a birthday with a Star Wars theme? That’s fantastic isn’t?

Last Sunday, May 31, 2016, Galactic Mission 7 was held at the Roof deck of Prestige Tower, Ortigas Center. The said event is not only a Bloggers Event but also a Family Summer Party. From registration, all the staff where in costume and even the host, the charming Ms. Mary Viernes in her Jedi Rey costume. There are some products display outside, a photo booth and the guest where given a loot bags from the sponsors.

Generous and sumptuous foods were served for the guest. For the usual party, there’s a popcorn, cotton candy, ice cream, taho and candy buffet that the kids really enjoyed. The whole event is full of fun and surprises. Lots of raffle, games and prizes was given away. Kids were able to make a lightning sword, beading, coloring a book, watching a magic treats and reading session. Everyone experience a Galactic one and bring home treats from the generous sponsors.

Generation East 2016 Grand Coronation Winners

Congratulations to the winners of Generation East 2016 grand coronation held on the afternoon of June 4, 2016 at the Entertainment Center of Building 3 of Sta. Lucia Mall.

Generation East is the longest teenage model search in the country where young men and women get to shine brighter and bolder by showcasing their beauties befitting to be young king and queens of the modelling industry. We'll soon see these faces at many modeling gigs and stints whether it be on print ads, TV commercials or product endorsements. For sure, the search will be their stepping stone to a greener pastures ahead.
We all appreciate beauty at its finest thus we witness a lot of beauty pageants in the country to highlight the appreciation. From modest to extravagant beauty queen or hunk searches, every one of us look not only in the superficial beauty of a person thus there are also Talent and Question and Answer portions for some of them that are added to the overall points for candidates. We also see a lot of special awards to recognize other worthy attributes like best in swimsuit, best in long gown, and most friendly otherwise known as the Miss Congeniality award.

Overall, we believe this searches or competition aims to elevate our appreciation for beauty as it inspires men and women to not only look their best but also to develop their personalities deep within.

Generation East 2016 Flores De Mayo

The longest teenage model search, Generation East 2016 had a Flores de Mayo parade of models on May 21, 2016 at Sta. Lucia Mall.

Since May has been the season for extravagant and festive Flores de Mayo events, we see several of these celebrations all throughout the month of May. The month has truly been a sight to behold. This is when the loveliest of our ladies all come out and show off what they are made of.

Young and vibrant men and women paraded in ever evolving-designed Barong Tagalog outfits and Filipiniana long gowns, respectively. A lot of designers are also taking advantage of these events to showcase their creations. They are all both breathtaking that every individual would wish they get the chance to wear these awesome outfits.

A lot of smiles were definitely all over the venue as we saw several of these Generation East 2016 candidates looking so fabulous amidst a crowd of well-wishers and even those mall-goers had to stop for a while to admire these attractive men and women flaunt their superbly-designed Philippine costumes.

I am more inclined to get fascinated with the ladies on how they carry their lavish gowns, while I envy the men who escort these beauties with all their splendor. We would like to congratulate them for being so elegant and awe-inspiring.
