Art & Appetite: A Feast For the Senses

The Business Management Society (BMS) of De La Salle University (DLSU) recently presented the Art & Appetite: A Feast For the Senses - where art and food delightfully merged into one gastronomically sensational feast.

The event was held on June 4 and 5, Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 11 pm at C1 Park, Bonifacio Global City High Street.

Budget Gourmet, Big Island Pete Shack, Puro Organic, Mio Gelati, Manong's Bagnet Station, Phat Boy, Bangketa, Pouf, Liquido Maestro, Art Nebula, Happy Creamery, EmpanadaMÁS, Wagger, Hunger Buster, Global Grub, Healthy Cane, ADC, and a lot more!

Art & Appetite: A Feast For the Senses was a weekend where FOOD meets ART, a crossover between your favorite food market and art fair while chilling out with your favorite TUNES brought to you by local bands and artists! A concoction of everyone's favorite things- food, art and music. A guaranteed feast for the senses!

Ethiopian Airlines, the fastest growing and the largest African airline, is pleased to announce that it has won the African Aviation ‘African Airline of the Year’ Award for 2016 during the 25th Anniversary African Aviation Air Finance Africa Conference & Exhibition and African Aviation Summit held on May 11, 2016 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The award was presented to Ethiopian in recognition of its financial performance, fleet modernization, route network expansion, in-flight service, overall customer care and its outstanding contribution to aviation development in Africa.

On the above photo is Mr. Mesfin Tasew, Chief Operating Officer at the 25th Anniversary African Aviation Air Finance Africa Conference & Exhibition and African Aviation Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Commenting on the award, Mesfin Tassew, Chief Operating Officer Ethiopian Airlines, said, “We are pleased to win the ‘African Airline of the Year 2016 Award’, which is a testimony of Ethiopian 70 years of commitment to bring Africa together and closer to the rest of the world. It is also a recognition of the visionary leadership of Ethiopian management and the hard work of thousands of Ethiopian employees who work hard to keep our beloved airline shining in the skies. Your Pambansang Blogger was invited to try the new dishes of Burgoo American Bar and Restaurant they appropriately called "Delicious Treats" at the SM Marikina branch just a few rides away from our residence. These sumptuous new treats are available at a limited time only so it's your opportunity to try them out soon before they are gone for good.

Of course, if the demand for them is high, I'm sure these dishes will come back to become a permanent part of the regular menu. This is how Burgoo takes care of their customers by keeping their interest high, and their tummies satisfied, with new offerings every now and then.

Just as how they served the Fruity Ice Cream for the summer season which allowed us to feast on Nestle vanilla and chocolate ice cream topped with special fruit bits like strawberries, cherries and bananas.

It was my first time to visit SM Marikina but the trip was smooth and easy that I actually arrived an hour before the call time. The Burgoo American Bar and Restaurant was equally easy to find with the help of security guards whom I asked for directions immediately upon entering the mall.
